I began working out in high school to improve my performance on the field. I wasn't consistent over the years though. I would work out steadily and get in decent shape, but soon would stop and lose it all. When I was younger genetics definetely played a major role in keeping me muscular and trim, but as I age I have lost that edge. Now I am a trainer and love helping others to get into shape. I also know that my body is my best advertisement and need to get back into shape.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel great. Not during the workout of course, but I love the sense of accomplishment that I get from bodyduilding. To me bodybuilding is like life. Sometimes you have to go through a little pain to reach your goals, but before long your body adjusts to the stress and it gets easier. That is life. If you want something bad enough you have to work hard for it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I haven't figured that out yet. I need to be in better shape to project a better image of a personal trainer now though. But, I may not be motivated to workout everyday but I know that I must do it. I do things for other people everyday that I don't want to do, at least I can do this for me.

I want to get my body fat down to 9%, and gain about 10 pounds of muscle by December 2008.
Goal (Long):
I want to compete in four NPC shows in 2008. I want to develop a solid system of training that will get results everytime for me and my clients. I want to be a role model for all. Sounds ambitious!

Man, I train, I abhor cardio, and I'm always reading up on this stuff. :-) Thats pretty much my life with little things mixed up like my job, side work, and breathing. :-)

Heck no, i don't want any contact info on Excalibur. How could i? i seem to be the guy that thinks bodyfat around my abdomen will just leave on its own. Other than that, i'm doing good. I would love too, but I won't be ready by then. I plan on doing one of the local shows later in the year, but right now I'm focused on the Southern States in July and the FL States in August. We'll see from there! I am going to be there on Saturday for the finals. I'm assuming that's the best part to watch...
