Overall Goal: I want to gain muscle. I want to look and feel strong.

When I Started:
Sep, 2008
How I Started:
Always had some interest in fitness but has only been really strong in the last year or so.
Why I Love It:
I love the euphoria I feel after a workout and feeling strong.
It is my therapy. It is my chance to be me and celebrate the fact that the human body is an incredible creation.
How I Stay Motivated:
I read Oxygen Magazine alot. I keep pictures EVERYWHERE. In my room, in the kitchen, on my fridge, in my diary...EVERYWHERE! Also having daily, weekly goals helps and looking at the big picture as well.
Also Bodybuilding.com is the BEST for ideas, tips, motivation, everything!
BB Accomplishments:
None yet but next year I hope to compete. Actually I WILL compete, either in May or September 2010.
I loathe this pic but it's empowering to upload it. It will make me more determined to work hard.
still awful. my weight has stayed the same but my waist measurement really fluctuates. i've been eating clean for a whole month now and can't see any changes yet. :(
I want to gain muscle. I want to look and feel strong.
Goal (Long):
I have had so many false starts. I want this one to stick! I don't want to be 'soft' anymore. I want to be strong. My physique ideals are Jamie Eason and Fern Assard. Their bodies are strong, yet feminine and proportional. For the next 3 months I am going to be strict on myself for diet and exercise and see how far I get. Wish me luck!
i love ava!!
she overcame so much and made such wonderful, positive changes in her life.
she is a true inspriation over and above her figure competition successes.
overcoming personal demons takes ALOT more determination and spirit.
but of course she does look AMAZING and has a wonderfully quirky sense of humour :)
Do you track your workouts (exercises, weight, reps, etc.)?
Yes
If so, how do you do it? Workout log, software program, etc.? Why do you do it this way?
I have a training diary where I record my workouts (weight, reps, calories burned etc) I also record my food in Calorie King software. It works out calories, fat, protein etc. It's a great tool and really works for me.

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
Fitness gives me a goal, a purpose. It has given me more energy and the confidence to persue other goals.
Thank you so much for noticing my progress. It must be the clean eating, because I feel like I've just started seeing definition in the last month. How is your training going?
I just read your blog, and wanted to let you know that MassFreak is a bit of a woman-hating dick. He likes to imagine himself as better than everyone else. I think skanky is best left for porn sites :)
Hello, your progress is looking really good!!! It will probablly take round 6 weeks to fully notice a difference when u r dieting, but there is a big difference in your back, ur lats are getting bigger. You hold your weight in exactly the same spot as me on ur stomach. its frustrating and i am still trying to work on that 6 pack as well.LOL. keep going you are doing well.
Hi, thanks for dropping in! I wish you all the best for your 2010 goals. You will do well, I'm sure. Keep posting and getting info from everyone around this website. It's a great source! Rock on, girl! ;)
for sure, i think sometimes we are our own worst enemy's. I know i think the same thing, but then you will get a comment from some1 and it will suprise you. do you find nite time is worst for you when dieting?
Thats awesome! I think it is heaps easier to train when you have a goal in mind. I am going in the ADF bodybuilding champs on Sept 16, so i about 16 weeks out at the moment. Am very nervous, and hop
