Back to training with the only goal being to be bigger today than i was yesterday. 220lbs... Here i come!
I got tired of being fat so I ran my ass off and starved myself... The end result was me being WAY to skinny (140lbs to be exact). I decided to start weight training and began to eat again (circa late 2006). In Dec. 2007 I decided to get my diet in check and told myself that I WILL be as big as I can possibly be. Why.....? Cause' I want to!
Why I Love It:
The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told that you're a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds.- Henry Rollins.
How I Stay Motivated:
It used to be seeing Abs and "cuts" year 'round but now I'm older, wiser and realize that moving the 130's while lying flat on my back for reps or having 1k on the leg press and pushing it for 10 FULL ROM REPS is much more important. Being ultra lean is for competing/photoshoots so eat up and get big cause' 170lbs. with Abs isn't shit but a little dude when you put your shirt on. I also have great support from my awesome girlfriend (BrittanyOG). She kicks me the real deal when I need it and cooks the most important meal of the day for me. She is also very knowlegeable in our sport and we discuss theories, recipes and training together. Love her!

Going from 149lbs. to a solid 200+ while maintaining my bf%

Goal (Long):
To carry a 250+ "off season" weight and possibly compete in bodybuilding someday. Looking to continue to compete in powerlfiting and find more lucrative ways to use my hard work first though lol.
Description: Training for the 09' DE power classic. This was at 4 weeks out i believe. Form was much corrected after this vid was taken. Ended up with a 540lb pull at the meet.
