When I Started:
How I Started:
I have been involved in sports all of my life. Working out and improving myself has become second nature. I had a distal bicep tendon rupture (tendon that connects the bicep to the forearm completely tore off the bone)about 2yrs ago, had it sugically repaired, and I laid off for 1yr. and now I have been back for 1yr. and I want to be better than I was before the injury. So far so good!
Why I Love It:
I want to feel good and look good.
How I Stay Motivated:
I crave competition. When I work out, I compete with my last workout. I always want to improve and I always want to push the limits. If I am not busting my butt in the gym, I feel like I am wasting my time. Less talk, more action! Also, after my surgery, my OT told me that I would never lift heavy again - that motivated me to prove her wrong - I am now back and better than I was pre-surgery!!
BB Accomplishments:
I have never competed. I have often thought about trying one day. I wanted to see how cut I could get or if I could get my body fat down to @ 5% just to show myself I can. I am currently at 8%.
