Overall Goal: I want to have an overall trim physique. My ultimate goal is to reach 6% body fat, and maybe level out at 8%.

When I Started:
Sep, 2008
How I Started:
When I first lived in Germany in 1998, I gained a lot of fat by drinking beer and eating junk. I got tired of feeling like and looking like crap, plus I wanted to be sexually appealing to chicks. I got in shape and cut up. Since then I've always trained, but I do balloon up from time to time. I recently deployed to Iraq and decided to get shredded again.
Why I Love It:
It is a way to work out the frustrations of the day in a meaningful manner. I enjoy gains I make, whether it is pushing more weight than I ever had, running a mile quicker than I ever have, or just looking more chiseled than ever.
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't want to get fat again. My immediate family is all overweight/obese, and I was as well when I was younger. Also, I just had a daughter born several months ago, and I want to set an example for her to follow.
BB Accomplishments:
My abs are starting to poke through again, and veins are very visible again. I don't plan on competing, but I still want to look good for the swimming pool!

There's only two times you need to train: when you feel like it and when you don't.

Goal (Long):
By doing cardio every day and abstaining from beer I'm shredding up like a mad man. I don't have any fat calipers, so I guess I should buy some soon (or find the ones that are somewhere in my house), to see when I'm at my goal.
I'm pretty excited. I just signed up to go on a Mediteranean cruise with my family this September. All the more reason not to let my bodyfat get out of control again. Who knows, maybe I'll get bit by the bug to compete someday too.
Every exercise I do 4 times with 12, 10, 8 reps, go until fatigue on the last set. This is for getting shredded quickly, and you won't gain mass from this strategy, so have a good foundation to start with. Do the cardio before or after each training session.
