Trainers I have tried:
Kris Gethin 12-week trainer - My favorite by FAR. I loved how he changed up the workouts all of the time. I always felt excited for the next workout. I loved the higher rep ranges for legs...I felt my legs go from jelly to harder and stronger! The higher carb diet was my friend when I got to the gym and had energy to tear it up. The daily videos were awesome and kept me excited and wanting more. I swear by the twists in this program for tightening up the abs area. My husband does too. After having 2 kids and no tummy tuck, the twists really tightened up my abs area. Bikini!
Jamie Eason Live-Fit trainer - started but did not complete. I might go back to it later, but I stopped because a bunch of friends were going to do S2S together and I didn't want to miss out. Her diet and food list is a really great place to start for eating healthy and clean. However, the 12 reps of everything was a little boring...
Jim Stoppani's Shortcut to Shred - last week starts 6/10/13. Going into this program, I expected more given the name. It is not a shortcut, but it does help burn the fat. At 5 weeks in, I have lost only 2 lbs and about .7 pounds of body fat according to my scale. The low-carb phase of this program is great. It's not so low in carbs that you feel lethargic or drained all of the time. But. I have noticed my % fat go down the most in this phase. I will include the low-carb diet portion of this program in the future for sure.
Trainers I want to try next:
Kris Gethin DTP is my next plan of attack. I loved the 12-week trainer. My legs responded really well to the high reps, so I want to see what this plan brings. I'm expecting great things. :)
