Overall Goal: Half of me wants to be a bodybuilder, the other half wants to lean toward figure. So I did both :) I stick with the NANBF because it is a drug free organization and I intend on staying natural.

When I Started:
2004
How I Started:
My dad used to compete and I grew up playing with the weights in the basement. He taught me about training and form. Once I started training my own clients, I felt more and more that I wanted to enter into a competition, and so I did. I prefer to teach by example and I'm thrilled to be a role model to those who know me.
Why I Love It:
I love how my body feels from training regularly and I especially love the compliments. I thrive on helping people when they have questions and I feel like a success when I see them making progress by doing the things I've taught them.
How I Stay Motivated:
Pictures. Other bodybuilders. Demanding a good role model of myself. Especially the support I get from my family and friends... I have a LOT of support.
Half of me wants to be a bodybuilder, the other half wants to lean toward figure. So I did both :) I stick with the NANBF because it is a drug free organization and I intend on staying natural.

It's only been 3 days since my competition and I already feel guilty about all the cheating I've been doing on my diet. I want to compete again in October, and I know it's important to take a little break, but I find myself becoming OBSESSED with this sport! Is that a good thing?
