My Workout Program

I am using mostly Maximum Overload Training. My rep range right now is 4-6. If I get more than 6, then I go up. Just taking it slow, I have 40 weeks to Evansville.
I am a RKC so I do Kettlebell workouts every night.

Day 1 - Chest

Flat Dumbbell Press -

Incline Dumbbell Press -

Incline Press Smith Bar -

Weighted Dips -


Day 2 - Back and Biceps

Deadlifts -

Bent over Barbell Row -

Lat Pull down -

Hardstyle Pullup -

Dumbbell Row -

Day 3 - Triceps, Abs and Calves

Triceps Cable Press down -

Dumbbell O/H Extension -

Dumbbell Kickbacks -

Calf Raise with smith bar -

Hanging Leg Raises -


Day 4 - Legs (Squat day)

Zercher Squat-

Front Squat -

Barbell Squat -

Kettlebell Press -


Cardiovascular training:

Cardio will still be predominately with Kettlebells doing a heavy dose of swings, snatches, and jerks.

Once a week I will either do my Snatch test of 60 straight reps with the 52lb Kettlbell or the secret service snatch test of 10 minutes snatching for reps.

Once a week I will improve my reps on the jerk with the 62lb kettlbell. Current record is 65 reps. My goal is 100.

Once a week I will do a circuit style session of 5 stations one of them being the kettlebell swing.

Twice a week I will teach my 35 minute step aerobics class.


There is the plan, time to put it into action starting on Monday Novemer 3rd.

Travel day!!  After waking up every 1 - 2 hours to eat last night, I am starting to look crisp and dry.  I am still peeing every chance I get, but my water is being cut down, down, down, so I am still processing the water, but not putting it in.  By this time tomorrow I should look hard as a rock. Suprisingly, a calm has come over me since about 7:00pm last night.  I am all packed, my food is all prepared, I am as ready as I can be at this point.  My confidence is even up a little.  I went to bed last night looking at pictures of last years winners going to the ov...

8/7/08 - 2 days to INBF Washington State Naturals

I am glad yesterday is over.  I don't even like talking about that first day of the process I feel so crappy.  Today is a new day though and I have to get day 1 in before I can focus on day 2.  So here is what's on todays agenda  Water - Yesterdays goal was to consume 5 gallons of water in a 24 hour period.  I met that goal for the Capital City Naturals, but could not quite get it done yesterday.  There is about 1/3 of a gallon of distilled water in my 5th and final container from yesterday.  So today I will reduce that to 2 - 2.5 gallons...
