I started as a means of getting stronger for hockey. Now over 10 years later, it is a way of life. My company, lifestyle, all of the activities I do include health and fitness.
Why I Love It:
There is no feeling like training. Pushing yourself and your limits. It's grueling if you push yourself, but that's the only way to get better, leaner stronger, faster. It takes focus and dedication and provides an excape, where for that hour each day - you need not focus on anything else. Of course all of the other health benefits are only icing on the cake:)
How I Stay Motivated:
Originally it was training for sport, then it began to get a little monotonous, so I began doing fitness competitions. I was a competitor for over 6 years until I grew tired of the politics involved. Then I turned my focus to fighting and devising crazy routines for myself and others to try. I guess the short answer is having continuous goals to strive towards
