How I Started:
I realized one day I have 50% of my mom's DNA, whether I liked it or not. She passed from a mixture of diabetes, lung cancer, lymphoma and heart disease. If I want to live to be an old healthy fart, I needed to get healthy now and stay healthy.
Why I Love It:
A great stress reliever. In for cardio every morning, back for wieghts at night. I have become a workout psycho. Its what I do, it's what I think about. I push it as had as I can every time i go. The guys who admire "the 300" have it just right.
How I Stay Motivated:
Having someone who has obviously a better bod than me make a nice comment about mine. Progress pictures make a difference, if i relied on the measuring tape I would be smoking cigarettes in a bar right now.
BB Accomplishments:
I just managed to bench my weight for the first time in my life. My strength has at least doubled and I've lost and added back over 40 pounds since I started. I needed a new wardrobe... again! Pants are too big, shirts are too small. I like it.

If you see me working out and I have headphones on please leave me alone, i'm in the zone. I mean I don't come by your office and interupt you while you are working do I? Also, if I fart on the treadmill and I don't say "excuse me" or "ooops", it didn't happen. It's your imagination.

I had a couple of dizzy spells and started to get chronic headaches and finally decided to see my GP. He sent me to a Neurologist who sent me to get an MRI. After getting my MRI I recieved a phone call from him that stated "I want you to cancel your trip to Japan and I need to see...

I can't say the stress now is any less but it is different. As I got older the stress changed. Kids got to be teenagers...my health was greatly compromised.I had choices to make. It'll always be something I have to work at.

I have a Jeep, too...a Wrangler. But it's HORRIBLE in the snow! And terrible in the rain as well. Is yours a Wrangler and, if so, please tell me what tires you have! Mine are off-road tires and are terrible in bad weather conditions.

Gross to them means I look similar to a guy. They're teenagers...and image is everything at this age. Don't agree with that. Awesome on the wt drop and ab popping. I'll ease way up on the heavy wts for while. What supps have you stopped? If you don't mind me asking.
