I wasn't always into fitness and health. I have been overweight my entire life up until about 2003 when I found out that my girlfriend at the time was pregnant. When I found out that I was going to be a father I just kicked myself into high gear. There was no way I was going to be some overweight, lazy dad with hardly enough energy to play with his own kid. I had several challenges that I faced. I was a underage drinker, cigarette smoker, and list of other things that I don't care to discuss. But through all of that I still managed to loose 60 pounds in 4 months. I started out at about 265 lbs. and I got as low as 205 lbs. After I lost that 60 lbs I manage to find 30 of lbs. again. That's when I started to incorporate my cardio and weight training together. When I began that regimin I lost 20 lbs. and my weight has been stable for the last 4 years. I didn't realize when I lost the 60 lbs in 4 months that I lost alot of muscle too. Lucky for me, I one of those people who put on muscle quickly. It didn't take long for me to get where I needed to be as far as my weight is concerned.
Why I Love It:
For the change it has created in me internally and externally. I have so much confidence when it comes to accomplishing goals whether it has something to do with fitness, business, or my personal life. I'm a better person because of this.
How I Stay Motivated:
By never settling. I always set the bar higher. There is always more to accomplish. Plus, there's always others who need help with staying motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
The first time I bench 415 lbs I was so proud and yet amazed at what I can push my body to do.
This is week 1 of regimin to transform my body to competition worthiness.
This was taken about a week ago. Excuse the whited out back ground. I haven't seen much difference from my week 8 progress. I must have plateau somewhere. I will take a rest week and come up with my new strategy to break through this plateau.
HOLY ****...that is what I call a transformation...bro, you look like a complete different person!!! I want a list of everything you did during that time frame...start typing!
Damn..and yeah, abs are clearly visible and nice chest size!!! And thanks for the good wish!
