If you're carb sensitive, which means carbs make you gain fat easily, cut them to about 300 gms a day and get 75% of them at breakfast and a little before training and a little after. No eating 2 hrs before bed. Train like hell. There is no reason to lose muscle. I stay at about 8% BF off season. I gained 12 lbs of LBM last year and so far I've gained 8 lbs this year. ed aka Old Supe
Sure thing man, shoulders is basic I do dumbell overhead presses and Arnolds one day, and BB overhead press the other and I do front and lateral raises with both workouts. And for abs, I do hanging leg raises 4-15 and bicycle crunches 4-50 3 times a week.
Mark. I do a lot of low rows about 3 to 4 sets 25 reps. Bent-over rows as well. Wide and close lat pulls. Close grip chins and hanging chins 60 seconds 2 sets. Pick three to do at a time. Never do the same routine in a row. Best to ya son! ed aka Old Supe
I train 6 days a week, for 2 hours a day, usually over my lunch break. I hit every muscle group twice a week except arms, I only train them once. My back workouts take care of my biceps, I only really do 2-3 bicep exercises a week. My weakest is my calves by far, I do a lot of running and I have a hard time gaining size on them. And if I train them too hard it really hurts my running. All my weight training is heavy, 6-8 reps on everything. Once I can hit 10 reps I up the weight.
