How I Started:
Early 2006 I weighed about 210 lbs and was extremely unhappy. Luckily my friend bugged me to go to a boxing class and when i finally did, it was the beginning of something special.
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding has put me on a path in life i'd NEVER thought possible. I see things more clearly... I know what it's like to push myself to the limits. It's taught me that it's a simple equation.... fat or strong is not a FEELING - it's a result of either doing the wrong things or pushing yourself to the edge. Your choice.
How I Stay Motivated:
2 things: 1. I see people walking around who clearly have no idea of the power they hold inside or how to tap into it. I want to help people discover that and feel as strong as they can. 2. I want to be that guy. That guy that everybody looks at and asks "How does he do it?"

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
12-15
I feel if I can do 4 sets of 12 and fail at the end then that will make me want to push out 4 complete sets of 15-12. I want endurance not massive bulk.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
I like 90 seconds to recover however if it's a big day I'm happy with 1 minute. If I can build my recovery to the extent that I can get fully ready for the next set in a minute then that's perfect. T...more

Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
Pros: I need like-minded people around me. Call that weak but it's a short-coming that I know I have to overcome.

  Kate Moss just got in trouble for saying "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels".

Hhmmmm... I use this phrase all the time and I'm not anorexic.  Or bulaemic.  There was last Saturday where I ate myself silly for the first time in a year where I wished I'd had more practice...
