Do push-ups and sit-ups when I was 3 years old count? By the time I was in 3rd grade I was doing 50 reps of each non-stop every morning and every night with good form (my dad never let me cheat). I've worked out and played sports all my life but I started bodybuilding when I helped out my best friend pump up backstage. It was awesome being there. I found myself comparing my body with the guys in the show. It was so motivating that I took my workouts to the next level and I've never looked back.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling I get. I'm a very competitive person so I get a lot of motivation from knowing I'll be standing on stage knowing that the other guys are working hard to beat me. Also, I remember when I walked out to the crowd and my clients were there to support me. The first thing I heard was "are you the same guy that's been standing next to me instructing to me? I had no idea you looked like that! Now I see why you push me so hard". Since that moment on I know that my hard work could motivate other people to lead healthier lifestyles as well.
How I Stay Motivated:
If I quit, what kind of example am I setting? Also, I love to see some new muscular changes everytime I do another show. Positive change is good motivation.
BB Accomplishments:
Last year I placed 2nd in the Men's Open Middle-weight Class @ INBF WA State. I've been making steady progress in each of 7 shows that i've competed in now. Now I'm getting ready to bring my A-Game to the stage this August and hopefully earn the right to go pro.

Description: Just a quick run through mandatory poses... bad ligthing, but Iwanna look awesome in bad lighting, so it's all good.
4 round ropes demo (trimmed_1)
Played: 22
Description: This is a look into one 20 second interval of my cardio. I do 8 reps of 20 seconds followed by 10 seconds of rest. Once 8 rounds are completed I take a minute break (I did this til I sprained my wrist playing sports). That sequence was repeated 4 times for 20 minutes. It was AWESOME!
Tuesday was a great day! Huge things are happening and Im so excited, I can hardly type lol. First, I got my lease paperwork so I can open up my own semi-private training studio in the next few months! Talk about living the dream! I've been wanting this for my whole...
Wowow. You look awesome. I'm discovering that natural bb'ing is an ongoing process--you just can't rush it. Your symmetry and overall balance is superb. You look like an awesome competitor. All the best.
Great posing expression bro. Hahaha. The look of determination. Just ripped up and shredded. You should be proud of this achievement. Did you place 1st?
thanks chris for the add, man you're shredded. How's business going? I saw that you listed you are a business owner. I'm assuming its the fitness studio you mention in your profile
Hey Chirs,
It was great to see you again. You looked fantastic. I appreciate your attitude and light heartedness backstage. Train hard and we'll see you again next year. Mark
Likely masters until I win the overall, then will go open as I keep progressing (I plan on making improvements into my 50s dammit:)--ha! Good luck at the show, I'll be the one cheering in the audience and wishing I was up there:)
I agree about not going crazy with your diet on peak week, it's nice to hear someone else with the same mindset! I'm going to have really bear down and burn some fat for the Ironman 8 weeks out, are you doing that show as well?? You may just be an INBF pro by then!!---- good luck!!
