How I Started:
I've been a gym rat for about 16 years now. Being a gymnast, it was kind of a requirement. After my first child in 1999, I became addicted. The gym to me is almost like a drug.
Why I Love It:
Being a stay-at-home mom and a full-time student can be very stressful and working out helps me relieve that stress. Oh yea, and I like looking good too!
How I Stay Motivated:
If I'm having trouble getting motivated, all I have to do is turn to the fitness channel or look through some fitness magazines.

I'm pretty proud of how I have been able to stay in shape after 3 little ones.

Goal (Long):
After a racquetball back injury back in November 2007, I was forced to completely stop all exercise for about a month. Then even after that, I could only do moderate exercise, which left me feeling a little flabby. Now that my back is all healed up, I'm ready to go again. I have started back to a rigorous exercise regimine, and have started eating better. My long term goal is to lose about 4% body fat and maintain the muscle that I already have. I'm not into looking too muscular, just lean. I would like to achieve this goal by the end of summer.
