How I Started:
Ive always been really active growing up, loved playing sports and doing extreme things but i always was a little chubby. i have a very low self-asteem and have always workout on and off. ive been looking deep within myself recently to find the dedication to transform myself into what i want to be and what i feel i am.
Why I Love It:
I am trying to love working out, it is seriously my greatest obstacle. I have always been a little overweight,but now im really overweight and im looking forward to my career and a family so I cannot stay like this, i want to be healthy and be able to look in the mirror and be happy with what i see, i want to be able be able to tie my shoes without difficulty!!!! LOL friggin pathetic. i feel strong and pwerful on the inside and then i look in the mirror and say "WHAT THE HELL!!"
How I Stay Motivated:
Staying motivated is definitely hard, I start out strong and end up falling into cravings and depression so I usually quit. thinking about my long term goals keeps me going back, i want to be healthy and muscular.

Goal (Long):
All of my long time goals require me to be in better physical shape and I want to be for myself too and i want to be a good example to my future children and my step son. I dont think of myself as being fat on the in side it only becomes reality when i look in the mirror. 2008 I am hoping to be 50 lighter and with more strengh.
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?

What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
ive been doing my cardio on the elliptical for about 45min or ive been trying to go swimming.

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.

so 10 days in, ok so far had some struggles, but thats normal i guess the hardest part for me is getting the motivation to go to the gym after work, its either go at like 0430 in the morning or after 12hrs of work around 830pm, ive been trying to go after work but it seems im always too tired...
My wife and I know where you are coming from & believe that you can make your fitness dreams come true, probably sooner than you think. My wife (bodyspace name: judimax) went from size 12/14 to 4/6 and I lost over 50 lb’s and went from 36% to 10% bodyfat by following the 12 week Body for Life program. Push yourself, possibly out of your comfort zone and you will be amazed at the results and they will be well worth the effort. Give either of us a yell if you wish.

Seems like you know what you want but you have issues with staying focused and discipline plays a serious role. It might help if you get angry with yourself when you see your slipping or moving away from your goals. My wife has the same problem. She started working out with me and she tries really hard but I find myself catching her trying to make excuses and I help her stay motivated. Keep trying and dont give up.
