Background

When I Started: Sep 1985
HOW I STARTED:

Believe it or not, as a kid back in the mid 80s profesional wrestling got me really started. I used to watch "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff, "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas, Hulk Hogan etc. and they all had muscular builds. I wanted to build my muscle size which made me start reading Muscle & Fitness magazine. I started seeing results as we all do if we've never worked out before and I was hooked.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love the way it makes me look and feel. I like the compliments I get when I'm out and it just drives me to workout harder. it really helps to allow you to push yourself in other areas of your life.

Making really good results from may training/nutrition and will get new images up soon. I've had a couple new ones already but just lazy to put them up online. I'm looking leaner and more filled out in the right areas. I did transform myself but right now I'm focusing more on cardio as it was severly lacking since I, like others, hate cardio. It's just a necessary evil. :P More to come.

And the days continue...

So, I continue my diet and although it can get really difficult at times, I know that there is "gold at the end of the rainbow" so to speak. This is where the mind takes precedence over the body in continuing the journey. I'm currently following a carb cycling plan in order to get in the best condition with higher protein. I feel that works better for me. Some people want more carbs and keep their meal plan steady throughout the week but for me, I feel better on a cycling plan. I'm going to post my updated pictures in another week and a half to see where I'm at. Looking in the mirror...

One thing that has always been a comment that I've heard was "You must have a lot of time to be able to workout the way you do. I'm too busy with my life to do that." Well, if you can use that excuse, then so can I (if I was as lazy as you). I am a very busy person too! I am a full-time employee with a company working as a web designer. I also go to school full-time in addition to that I do some web design work on the side and train my girlfriend 3 nights a week in addition to monitoring both her and my diets. These people just want to use that damn excuse. I like anyone else, would...

fitfanatic180 It gets really busy at night. Sometimes it is hard to get equipment or even a bench for that matter! Just with my schedule it makes sence for me to go to the Chandler gym in the morning and Gilbert when I go at night. May 17, 2011 10:14pm
