i mean conditioning is tailored by your own strength...so yea i guess...once gymnast is not gonna be able to do the same amount of push-ups as another

hey! just got back from vacation! got a tan haha...when training as a gymnast we only used body weight, and maybe someone medicine balls for sit ups. we did alot of pushups, v-ups, hollow body rocks, chin-ups, leg lifts, lunges, squats, handstand push ups, and handstands handstands handstand, we would do this by the 100s with intervals of individual strenght, do as many as you can do in sets.

i would have to see it, when you go to class ask them what they think. you wanna reach out far in your cartwheel so a big lunge and reach with your hands is key

thats fine, but remember you want to build strength in your upper body, thats all, dont forget that alot of the most successful gymnasts have ALOT of muscle especially in the legs..

i think your nutrition may be fine just do not take in so much protein, also make sure you replenish your muscle glycogen by eating complex carbs, as in fruits veggies, lentils, etc. this is so you can practice longer...do lighter weights, more reps, this will help you tone. also do light cardio. not sure what your eating but im a grazer with lots of small portions of everything, works for me to maintain. whats your menu like?

try to keep them straight but they will bend when needed....also you must get your hips over your hands and your shoulders past your hands to get to a handstand first...again you will see that as i come down from my handstand to my press..then its all about the handstand...goodluck on finding your happy medium!

straddle press... its great to try to practice this skill...sit in a straddle and then only using your hands in the middle between your legs press your body in the air...its extremely hard but starting off with your feet slightly elevated and pushing your bottom level to your feet is a good start...this is a good move for fitness performing. great for abs, shoulders, and hip flexors...also i cannot stress enough to practice handstands...handstands handstands handstands, they are your base

as an athlete i never relly paid attention to how much protein or carbs...i ate what my body told me to eat..as i become more educated an athlete must take in carbs which fuels the muscles...this is crucial for gymnasts...its amazing the muscles you didnt know you had until you start practicing gymnastics skills..it requires immense upper body strength with your own body weight...happy gymnastics!

about the arms, refer to my handstand pictures there is no deliberate bend in my arms..do not lock them out...or hyperextend...just keep them straight..;)
