i have been athletic my whole life and i probably have spent half my life in a handstand. now its all about maintaining...i never wanna be that girl who lets everything go.
also...if anyone has any question on nutrition, or sports nutrition please ask me! its my major and i know alot along with the fact that i am still learning, the more questions people ask the more i learn as well...one more year until i graduate! my ultimate goal is to be the sports nutritionist for the NY giants, but hey im not picky, any football team will do!

i am in such a good mood after i workout, and i feel good about myself
How I Stay Motivated:
now that school is over i have ALOT of time to spend with myself and renew my love for fitness...reading fitness magazines and creating new workouts makes me want to be in the gym...plus GOLD's has great classes such as spinning and body pump

Description: the second half of a straddle press handstand...for those that are still not strong enough from start to finish practice your second half while you continue to get stronger on your first!

Description: this is called a tick-tock alot of times people who are practicing bridge kick-overs end up getting burned out of strength from either pushing up to a bridge or going down hard backwards to a bridge. i find it easier to do kick overs by doing a front limber first then kick over...saves lots of energy!
i should probably do some updating photos but im excited that i have gained 3 lbs! haha im now 108....and also i wore shorts to work the other day and a customer noticed improved definition and massĀ in my legs! yay!

Vacations are good but can be a distraction as you said. Congrads on the house. Depending on the type of fixer upper it is you can get a good work out fixing up a house. Good luck with the updating in the house.
Ok, got you! Did my handstands class today - Was fun and hard, lots of core conditioning but we did all sorts, finished the class with walking handstands, didn't think I would even be able to move my hands from the one spot but did 11 steps (spotted, though..someone had their hand between my legs and I had to squeeze it) Learning what I need to do in order to get up, it's good work for me :)

xasdfvgbhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuulo85 a2vbnm. Thats my daughter typing you a message!! I don't really do weights at the mo but are there any exercises you think I could do that would help me strengthen for gymnastics? A routine to do 2 - 3 times per week separately? An after thought..
OK, well they said it looked ok and hubby says it looks pretty much bang on now. I only focused on that yesterday. Its like an epiphany - feels like things make bit more sense. hip flexors feeling stronger too!
made another revelation about my cartwheels which should improve my round-offs. I now have started in a deeper lunge than what I had previously and I have my front foot and lead hand on the floor at the same time, I think I kick up higher when I do that. Sound right? Weird how you pick these things up!!
Did my induction today at the circus space, she said I had good body tension in my handstands. Now I know I need to be a bit more over than I think I am. I'll be doing a tumbling class on friday and a handstand class on saturday. 2 hrs each class..I really enjoyed it - was tough, good thing I ate my carbs! ;))
Used to eat every 2-3hrs when I was training for figure, since doing the mass loss I've been eating just 3 times per day. I eat organic meat and chicken, fish, tofu beans lentils, lots of veggies - sweet potatoes my fave, not too much fruit but could eat more. Peanut butter and avocado's for fats. Gluten free breads. I don't supplement anymore because I don't believe in them anymore.
Hi Aub! A question. I reverted to eating 3 times a day to lose mass, but I now think I need to eat more often again. How do you think I should handle my nutrition in terms of eating frequency and what I should focus on? Especially since I feel quite sore in my upper body all the time now. My shoulders are really feeling it!! Plus I will be doing a shoot in a few months so I need to get tight again!
LOL! Moving into a new house is fun and a pain at the same time. I'm sure in due time it will be fixed up just the way you guys want

Hey! I found a pace near me called the circus space that run courses so I'll see if I can start one sharpish! I'll still stick to the things you sent me, and hopefully go to these classes once a week.. I'm excited :)
