Okay, so I "fell off the wagon" for about 2 years after being in great shape most of my adult life. I was training a client and caught a glimpse of someone in the mirror and thought "who is that fat girl in the green shirt?" It was ME!
So, I'm back at it, for good this time.
Why I Love It:
I love to see how far I can push myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
The mirror! When I let myself get out of shape I think YUCK! work out harder. When I'm in shape I always see something I can improve.
BB Accomplishments:
Placing 2nd in my first figure competition. I have no plans to compete in the future, but that could change.

Thanks for replying! I actually do prepare my meals all week long (weekends are a major downfall for me as well) But I think my issue is my snacking. Cake, cookies, chocolate, chips...if it's in my work place I eat it and I can't seem to talk myself out of partaking. Right now my birthday cake is in the lunch room. I had a piece yesterday and want one right now just to taste it because it's good. I'm attempting to forget about it as I type this. I have issues.
lol! well,let me rephrase...BE A CRAZY HEAD WITH CARDIO!!! try a 1min on 1 min off HIIT for 30min OR 30sec on,45 sec off for 30 as well-either all tred,or break it up 10min on 3 diff cardio equipment...its a killer but great for burning the belly and booty fat :)
july is plenty time to get ready!!!im excited for you! just get motivated,get moving and become the crazy head in the weight room!lol!you can do a show again,its just like child birth-you forget the pain long enough to have another..heh,heh BUT once you get there and get on stage,its all worth it,regardles of place...im cheering for ya sister!!

I think the idea is (at least this is how I'm viewing it) that it lets you increase the amount you can lift, while not sacrificing your form. I often find near the end of my higher rep sets when I'm lifting heavy (especially with squats!) that my form is not so hot. When you are only doing 5 reps, you are able to concentrate better and maintain your form. That's the theory anyway. I've never really done this type of program before... We'll see how it goes...
