I caught the fitness bug from a guy I met in college who was into bodybuilding, he convinced me to start lifting weights with him at the gym.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy the physical and mental benefits of working out. Being a strong girl has its advantages- I feel more confident and I'm capable of doing more things by myself if I want to.
How I Stay Motivated:
I want to live a long healthy life and forging a strong fit body through weight training goes a long way towards that goal. I also find annoying ex-boyfriends to be a great motivation, working out is a great way to vent your frustrations.
BB Accomplishments:
It's not really a "bodybuilding" accomplishment, I was able to push my stalled VW bug from the road onto the shoulder by myself, I felt like a superhero.

I don't like being average, I don't want to look like everyone else. My goal is to be fit and strong and have a body that will be noticed. I want to stand out in a crowd, I want jaws to drop when I walk by. I want to have the grace and beauty of a dancer, the flexibility and stamina of a gymnast, the speed and endurance of a runner, and the strength and power of a bodybuilder. I will sculpt my body into perfection and turn people's heads doing it!
I love to start my back workout with 1 set of wide-grip pullups, when I'm freshest, then I'll do t-bar rows (heavy) followed by a long set of wide grip lat pulldowns!

What shoulder workout has worked best for you?
Giant set military presses, superset side lateral + front lateral
+ rear delt raises.

What calf workout has worked best for you?
Donkey raises, seated calf raises or calf raises on the leg press machine.
