The most important thing to me is to have a plan and to follow it. Ideally changing it every 10-12 weeks. Proper form and technique are far more important than how much weight you are lifting. Never ignore your legs. Hit the legs hard and your entire body wiLl grow. Finally reduce your sugar intake and consume at least your body weight in protein grams every day, drink lots of water and get your sleep!
