I broke my tibia one summer in a dirt bike accident when I was 15 years old. Realizing that I was going to have about six weeks of no physical activities what so ever, that left me with reading and doing puzzles. So mom took me to a book store where it all started. I picked up a muscle mag which had a guy on the cover doing dumbell shrugs. I was fascinated by his trap, delt, and ab development and said to myself, "I would love to look like this one day." So, be that as it may, read the thing cover to cover and began my journey.
Why I Love It:
It not only makes me feel great, but looking great is even more rewarding because it gets you respect and gives you confidence.
How I Stay Motivated:
YOUTUBE. Some of my favorite inspirational videos would have to be "Blood & guts" by Dorian Yates, "Made in Germany" by Markus Ruhl, "Best of Kevin Levrone", and "My sacrifice" by Jay Cutler. Check em out!
BB Accomplishments:
As a teen, my goal was to win my state title. It all began by age 15. It took me 4 yrs but I finaly got the job done by my 19th birthday.
My next goal was to win my weight class in the Men's open state title. After placing 4th in the light heavy weight class in 92, I had realized the men's division was no joke. So I took off teo years from competing and trained my bump off!.
I 1995, Not only came back and took my weight class, but also landed the overall by unanimus decision. That to me, felt pretty gosh darn good! Twelve years later I decided to make my comeback. This year I am taking it one step at a time. Since I had to requalify for the Nationals by winning my class, I am now eligible to compete with the big boyz.
