Hi guitareman. There is a great tradition of strength in Canada. From mountainous fur trappers to Louis Cyr, to Doug Hepburn, to Hugo Girard. You have a very admirable goal. So long as you don't treat your body as a collection of isolated parts, you can make gains you wouldn't believe possible. Best wishes from an old dinosaur.
