Met a trainer years ago, who convinced me to get into it. After 4 months, I was able to see the transformation my body was beginning to make. After 6 months, I decided to ditch the trainer and joined Pumping Iron gym in NYC.
Why I Love It:
I love that it makes me feel great about myself - that I am taking care of me, not only for my physique but my overall health. Not to mention how hot one tends to look when one's body is in tip top shape :)
How I Stay Motivated:
Self discipline. The articles on this site have definitely helped and now that I've put up a profile, knowing like minded folks are checking it out - I can not afford to slack off!!!
BB Accomplishments:

Ecstasy comes from leaping in the direction of your desires, despite the obstacles.

Kickboxing rocks! Now it's time to pick up the weights again :)
Goal (Long):
Get rid of the fat!!! Definitely gain lean muscle mass and be in the best shape of my life. I have had the hardest time acquiring flat, hard rock abs and I am very determined to make that happen this year. I also want tight, firm, round buttocks and an overall super-fit physique.
She's a mom of 4 no less and I've watched her progress and it's been amazing! She's achieved her goals and it inspires me to refocus and get my act together. If she can do it so can I!
I know this may sound ridiculous as it does to me too but, recently a friend of mine commented on how bodybuilders who start at an early age (men in their teens) stunt their growth. Granted she really had no scientific data to back up her claims, except to say her own father who had started...
Thank you for the add. I am doing well. I fell down (metaphorically speaking) but I am getting back up and my training is getting back on track. I am working on getting enough sleep and my diet, as I know both are holding me back from my goals. I am learning the basics and trying to remember it all. I will get there. It is nice knowing people are out there rooting for you to succeed. You look great and I hope all is going well for you. Thanks again and stay strong.
You are quite welcome. Thank you in return for accepting my friend invite. Best wishes to you in accomplishing all your health and fitness goals. Have a good holiday.
