My Workout Philosophy View My Full Workout Program
what I am doing right now ...
Had to move to another gym after my other one when bankrupt. I am still getting use its various equipment - as well as a its free weights range (which I prefer). So to get use to everything, I work the following body parts.
Monday :: chest / back [ 4 exercises of each - 5 sets of 10 (first set always low weight to prep)] - abs!
Tuesday :: legs [ 4 exercises of each + calves !!! - 5 sets of 10 ... ]
Wednesday :: shoulders / traps / delts [ 3 exercises of each - 5 sets of 10 ... ] - abs!
Friday :: biceps / triceps [ 3 exercises of each + 1 forearms - 5 sets of 10 ... ]
Saturday / Sunday off to get stuff done !!
*** abs - I use the exercise ball and do crunches on that 4 sets 50 with 1 min rest .. then 4 sets of 30 (or until I am about to puke) with 30 sec rest .. that has helped a lot!
End Result :: each time I use whatever is available, which means each muscle group has been hit with a different exercise each session. My body need this shake up for doing the “same old” and has responded with some real gains. Finally the plateau has been busted!
