Overall Goal: Finally my back is healing. starting to run again. Put in a quick 5 miles this morning. Going to try a short 20 miles on the bike. Wish me luck, if my back holds out I'm in full.

How I Started:
I was 410lbs. and needed to make a change. I lost 235 lbs. in 18 months. Now I love working out I compete in the local Triathlons and hit the weights 6 days a week. Man it feels great to be fit.
Why I Love It:
The feeling you get when you can run 10 miles without getting out of breath, or lifting your PR and looking forward to the next workout is just such a natural high for me.
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep a fat picture of me in my wallet at all times if I get down or don't feel like training I look at the pic and run my ass off.

Sunday- OFF
Monday- 8-9 Mile run at 6:30 per mile then Arms
Tuesday- 2.5 mile swim the Squats and leg press
Wednesday- 8-9 Miles run 7:00 per mile then shoulders
Thursday- 50 mile Bike ride 20-23 MPH Avg. then Back
Friday- 1.5 Swim then 6-7 mile run 8:00 per mile
Saturday- 75-100...

no, the travel didn't hurt the diet.. but the same girlfriend i saw in chicago is here moving all her stuff and she and i have been eating like there's no tomorrow! i'm gonna be running MILES and MILES to work off all these cupcakes! UGH but oh so yummy! how's your training going?
Hey! Yeah I know. I have been gone for a bit. I not only let myself get derailed, I didn’t dish out the encouragement to my friends. I apologize. I know I don’t have to but I have found that my friends help me stay on track and I hope I do you as well. So please forgive me for abandoning you and fill me in on what you have been up to these last couple of months. How are your workouts? Diet? Motivation? What are you looking forward too? Have your goals changed?
yeah.. my DO looks more like a DON"T right after the swim cap goes on... haha.. awesome news about you getting into race shape! soooooooooooooooooooo, with that said, do you have a race picked out?? :)
running 4x/week?? that's so awesome!! :) i bet it will take some time before your back enjoys that aero position.. that's tough even without having had surgery!! i'm not sure being needy is exclusive to just high school girls.. haha :) glad to hear all is well :)
