When I Started:
Jan, 2001
How I Started:
You could really go back and see that I started to work out when I was 18-19. I was an actor and model and needed to sharpen up my form to get better gigs!
Why I Love It:
I love it because a) I love pushing myself and seeing the results, b) it is one area of my life that I can apply the principles of success and see the results, and c) how darn good I feel after each workout!
How I Stay Motivated:
I have this dream board up of the things I want to do, see and be. I have this picture of this 80 year old guy who is absolutely ripped and living life. That is what I want to be. Also, I want to be fit and active in the ministry, so I have to keep exercising. I stay focused on being healthy and happy when I am his age as well as all the good I can do just by being an active minister, and I just roll my butt out and get it done!
BB Accomplishments:
Not many yet, other than started to dominate my diet. I have that pretty much under control. Also, I have stuck with all of the CrossFit workouts so far, and I haven't dropped dead, yet. That is a plus. I have not really set goals before, until now! I am shooting for a 10% Body fat to start, and will modify my size goals from that.

Front - 174 lbs. After CrossFit
This was back in the day. The only real "previous" picture I have. I was just doing push-ups, sit-ups, dips, etc. Since then I picked up CrossFit, and now I am taking a hiatus from that to put on some muscle, increase cardio 6 days a week, and then I will trim back down.
Here I am 177, abut 10 percent body fat. Need to work on poses soon. (Shaving, too!)

Goals:
Main Goal:
Live Healthier
Goal (Overall):
Total Fitness. Total Health. Total Success.
Goal (Long):
It has been tough to consider switching from CrossFit to a lifting regime. In an effort to hit 10% body fat and still maintain a weight of 188-190 #s, I know that I need to incorporate more weight training. New Note: Back on CrossFit. Seeing how unfit standard lifting left me, I would rather be around 180-183, 10-12% BF, and be completely FIT (strength, endurance, flexibility, intensity, power, etc.)
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 5 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
10%

The level of athleticism is shocking.

Nice one. I'm a little under the weather but I PR at least a few times a week on the workouts. I'm a cult member as well. Check out the website on my profile.

Thanks! My husband has long been a fan of Crossfit(dcdiver,)too. He has just started alternating his workouts to include the basic lifts (deadlift, bench , squats...all heavy!!) and crossfit, including plyometrics. Might work for you too!!

The picture is weird and I think you are the second person to notice it. I took it on my Macbook Pro and it came out reversed. I have no clue why.
