When I Started:
Jan, 2009
How I Started:
Got tired of the rollercoaster, so I recently made a decision to transform my body and make exercise and proper diet a permanent part of my life. I started working with a personal trainer, did extensive research on diet, exercise, and fat loss, and hit the gym hard!
Why I Love It:
I don't always love the actual working out part, but I definitely feel great afterward and I really love the results!
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing others working out is very motivating. It also helps when I look at my progress pictures and see how much progress I've made. By far, though, BodySpace is the best inspiration of all!
My main goal is to stay motivated and be consistent with my diet and training.
Goal (Long):
I never want to be flabby again. Since Jan. 2009 I lost 20 lbs. of fat and added muscle mass. I want to stay motivated, stick with my diet, and increase workout intensity to add more muscle while staying lean! Thanks to all those on BodySpace that inspire me. I hope I can do the same for others.
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
The treadmill, because I have one in my house. I find it easier than stair steppers or ellipticals, although I will use an elliptical at my gym now and then.

What is your cardio exercise plan?
I use a HIIT regimen, alternating between high and low intensity intervals.
I know what I want to do: I want big, well-defined muscles and a physique to die for. So what am I doing? Lifting weights and eating the proper diet. It's working, too, but like so many others, I have hit a plateau. So I'm trying different training regimens, mixing up my diet,...
