How I Started:
I've always be active in sports since I was a child. I competed in soccer, basketball, gymnastics, dance, volleyball, and horseback riding. I started weight training for gymnastics in High School. I instructed hardcore kickboxing classes and Hip Hop classes until 2003 -when I got married and moved.
Why I Love It:
How you look and you feel afterwards! It's fabulous knowing your are in control of your body and finding out what it can do! I find that I am more driven to eat clean when I work out... another BONUS!
How I Stay Motivated:
Easy... pictures of your self in a bikini will do wonders on your mentality! I always keep the "current" picture of me in a bikini in my wallet...Just so I remember how I really look. Like they all say--PICTURES DON"T LIE! :)
BB Accomplishments:
Nothing too big yet... setted a goal to compete again in a local fitness model competition in May 2008. ( I placed second in 2007) I am thinking about doing Fitness competitions & getting my personal trainer certification. (?)

This is six weeks after having my third child. I weighed 152 pounds which I was thrilled about it! I had lost 26 pounds in six weeks! ( I weighed 178 pounds) It was the most I've ever gained being pregnant. The funny thing is I watched what I ate and exercised everyday!
My tummy has tightened and my clothes fit sooo much better. But I am shocked that there isn't a big difference between my last ones... :(

Goal (Long):
I want to lower my body fat percentage, lose around 20 pounds and become ripped again! Maybe one day compete in Fitness - I love gymnastics, dancing and being fit! Obviously, after having kids your body changes so it's going to be harder to have a hot body...but hey, I like challenges! But more importantly, I am determined to raise my kids in a healthy lifestyle. I am sickened at our country's obesity, especially in children!
My husband is almost done with Law School and I want to have breast implants as a reward for all of my hard work! (Because we all know that's the first thing to go after kids and intense cardio and weight training... why can't it just leave your boobs alone and dissappear off of your thighs instead? :)
I competed in a Model competition in July of 2007 and I was runner up. Hence I didn't have to get in a bikini or the results would of been different...LOL! So I am determined to place first next year to get some publicity! Winner also gets to be a spokesperson for a year!
Which pro bodybuilder/fitness/figure competitor has the ideal physique? Why?
Um... I don't think I can pick just one. Monica Brant inspires me the most but there are so many beautiful competitors w/beautiful bodies! I really like the lean muscle that Vanda Hadarean has. How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
12 reps & usually 2-3 sets depending on the weight. I really like to mix it up a lot so I don't get bored. Somedays I will use really light weights and do 4 sets of 15 or something. How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
30 - 60 seconds - Depending on the exercise and just again, getting a feel on how I feel that day.

Wahoo... pant pant... kind of have mixed emotions but all in all I am very excited! I am due in February. The doctors have been pushing for me to have a hysterctemy for the past three years because I have a very high risk of getting ovarian cancer and have had several surgeries to remove...
