How I Started:
I actually took my first foray into exercise/bodybuilding about 15 years ago, but I didn't stick with it. I'm regretting it now because getting into the shape I want to be is much more difficult at 39 than it was at 23!
Why I Love It:
I just feel so much better overall!
How I Stay Motivated:
Right now, my goal is to look good enough to take some fitness modeling shots and feel GOOD about them! I also keep pictures of Monica Brant and Timea Majorova posted on my mirrors. ;)
BB Accomplishments:
At this stage, I'm just feeling stronger and more energetic. The visual changes are not as apparent as the feeling just yet.
First goal is to lose the fat I've built up since my last pregnancy. Then train to compete!
Goal (Long):
I am studying to become a personal trainer while training for competition. I really want to help others change their view of themselves and their bodies, especially women 40+; that's about the time many women give up the dream of being healthy and in shape. We feel that we just have to accept the changes coming in our life and that's that. Well, that is NOT that! I'm determined to look better at 40 than I did at 20! ;)
