Overall Goal: Bigger bench press and more meat on my calves and forearms.
Fit Status:
Ugh. Army PT Test is coming up and it's making it hard to lift how I want to lift. Stupid running.. and lots of it.

How I Started:
I'd always been interested in working out but lost the motivation after high school. Vodka and good times got in the way...
Why I Love It:
I feel better. It relieves stress. I look better. I'll live longer... there's so many reasons.
How I Stay Motivated:
In my mind I not working out is no longer an option. It just isn't.
BB Accomplishments:
For a minute I was up to 208lbs with a 14% body fat... then came the Army and I lost sooo much. *sigh. In either case, I maxed Army PT tests and that's kindof a big deal to me.
What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
Pfft. My kids run me ragged. What energy?

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
Honestly, it hasn't helped. My family isn't big into fitness... they're kinda big into... being big. My wife tries, though. She's naturally thin and good-lookin while somehow loving all junk food.

Are you a parent?
Yes
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you to be a better parent?
I can swing my kids all over the place and carry heavy things AND them at the same time.
Right now I'm going a little heavier than normal to try and get back what the Army took. At the same time I have to run all the time and do waayy too many push-ups to stay in "Army Shape."
