I have always been interested in sports and loved being active. I started doing Aerobics and weightlifting in 1997, then a 4 year stint with Aikido followed, then an on-and-off affair with cardio and weights.
Why I Love It:
- makes me happy
- increases my self-esteem
- gives me strength
- keeps me away from over-eating
- enjoy seeing changes in my body and mind!
How I Stay Motivated:
- by checking profiles of women at BB who have achieved their goals and look and feel amazing
- by reading fitness / health / lifestyle magazines
- by reminding myself of my goals and achievements
The past four weeks were bad. Full stop. I need to get my act together and stop abusing my body and finallly win with my evil mind! The gym opens on 29th August or so I was told (initially was to open on 28th Feb so i take with with a pinch of salt). Anyway I will get there. My target date is...
Hiya Aga, just checking in on you. Your new pix are looking good, and it's good to see you're hangin' in there despite not having a gym to go to. Keep working out and stay in control of your diet, but don't let a bad diet keep you from working out; clean diet is very important, but it's the toughest to conquer; try planning your meals in advance. Keep at it; you'll be ready for that new gym when it opens ;~)
hey some exercise is better than NO exercise, ehh throw in some pushups..;) haha.. find some kind of object in your house and use them as weights :O)
Man 3 weeks?!.. I get weird on my days off of the weights and it's only cardio.. lol :) Havea great week..your half way done!!:)
You do not look like you have all that much to lose but I would suggest you look at the Body for Life program. My wife (bodyspace name: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 & I lost 50 lb’s and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat following the BFL program, which is only 12 weeks. It isn’t super easy nor so hard that you can’t achieve your goals. I believe by committing to do what needs to be done, the results will be well worth the effort. Feel free to give either of us a yell.
Welcome Golden! You've taken the biggest first step.......and you may not think so, but you don't have far to go. Sure it'll take hard work, but that's when it's most satisfying. Luke
