How I Started:
I was always an active person. A ballet dancer to be precise...but a bad breakup led me into a slum and I gained 15 lbs.
I took my active, skinny lifestyle for granted and ate without a care. I had stopped dancing and I became unrecognizable. It scares me that I could become so fat without realizing. The weight just slowly piled on, and slowly I became comfortable with my new size.
Two pregnancies later, I am back on the train to lose 35 more lbs of this weight.
I married a fitness enthusiast so I am grateful that he gives me a proverbial kick in the pants when I need it. That and the rubbing of the thighs and the embarrassment I feel at chrismas musicals at church led me to say "enough is enough" being overweight is not for me.
Why I Love It:
It is healthy and there is always something more that you can do. Nothing really feels as good as conquering the weight issue. Extra fat is just gross and unneccasary.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at other people's transformation helps. Positive words to myself.
I am not sure if I found the perfect motivator as yet cause I am still overweight.
BB Accomplishments:
Lost 10 lbs mommy weight.
Fitting into sizes 3-5 as of November 30th, 2007

I scared myself that I can get so big!!!! I had given birth a month before, but still! 148lbs
119lbs. Was pregnant for a little while since my last photos in Nov '07. Worked hard to get back down but I still have that pouch I need to get rid of

Goal (Long):
-I would like to professionally dance again.
-I would like to get to my optimum weight before my next pregnancy so that I don't see the backside of hell to lose weight again.
-I want to master a healthy regimen by August 2008.
I am starting to wonder if I am a grinch or something. It's getting cold and darker and the invites are waning. I have 2 more eating fests to go to and a wedding, then after that there are no more BBQs! Yes!
I know the bigger issue is my lack of resolve but the best strategy for me right...

Hey Nicky! Sorry I've taken so long to respond. I am using a hemp protein...it doesn't have any lactose what-so-ever. It doesn't give as much protein per serving though so I am also using the Optimum and I take lactase enzymes with my shake. Nothing is perfect but these are at least managable.
Well...my loading up on protein didn't work very well at all! lol! My body shut down and I'm so swollen. I WAS using a lot of the protein powder. In my oatmeal, then a protein shake after my workout. Big piece of fish each night and sweet potatoes, etc. for lunch and mid day meals. I've had to back down to not much trying to detox! :) I think I'll load up on a slower pace once I get past this...

ahh yeah I remembering Yoga, I helped me to breath better and have better position. Maybe you took it as advice but I though you are already doing Yoga and an expert bit.
People alway forget about oxygen which is vital part in getting stronger because your muscle need oxygen to carry weights or cardio
I didnt give you any advice just compliments, but I going to take you thanking and use it, rarely people will thank you so cherish every moment of it while it still last :D
