I have been pretty active all my life with sports in H.S. and then the military, but in the beginning of 2007 I found myself nearing in on 270 lbs. and had to do something about it.
Why I Love It:
The self discipline it requires and the feeling of accomplishment after you finish a workout. I love being in better shape and I feel a lot better. I love the pump you get!!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at guys bigger and more cut than me and thinking "Sh*t, I can do that," Endorphins, like being animalistic and lifting heavy stuff.
BB Accomplishments:
Lost 50 lbs, People telling me I'm big.

I can do it! No you can't! Yes I can! You wish! It's a constant battle with myself, but I will win!!
I want to bulk up about 10-20 lbs. and at the same time become leaner with a goal of around 10 percent body fat. 20 inch arms would be nice but it's hard to make them grow, for me at least, any ideas would be appreciated. I'd like to get rid of the fat around my midsection, I think this would make me look better and bigger all around.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 20 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
10%

Thanks! In 3 weeks, I've already had a considerable gain in my squat...so I'm excited to bump those reps down more and more! Such a head rush to push up the stacks!
Hey, let me know what kind of exercises she told you about. I got a massage Friday and my therapist said he didn't think I had a torn rotator cuff ... so I might need to get a second opinion. He also mentioned exercises to help.
Aww, sorry to hear you have the flu...that sucks! Thanks for the encouragement! I'm actually looking for the ab muscles lol Trying to flex them..but there's not much to flex! Hope you're feeling better soon!
I thought I was the only one that had those psychological battles with myself. Nice to kow I'm not alone. Maybe it's a Missouri thing, lol. Good luck to you, man. You're looking big and strong from what I can tell.
Thanks ... you're so sweet! You mean Kennett? I grew up about 30 minutes from there! Small world huh? Actually, my family still farms near there so I go home for visits all the time. Have a good day!
Thanks for visiting my body blog! I have a nice little road bike that I use for triathlons. Picture is here: http://blog.bodybuilding.com/R ae610/2008/06/07/im-still-here /
Hey! It was going good until I finally went to the doc about my shoulder... found out it was my rotator cuff...ugh!!! No weight lifting with that arm for about 5 weeks or might have to have surgery... just when I was starting to see a little shoulder muscle! Hope you have a great 4th!!
