I want to compete in a Figure Competition in April 2008 and feel and look better overall.
Goal (Long):
I recently overcame a nasty addiction and now want to become as healthy and fit as I possibly can. I love to lift and want to gain enough muscle to compete in a Figure competition. I plan on competing in April 2008 in either Figure or Bikini depending on where my body is by then. I want to transform myself and learn to have the confidence I used to have. I want to feel healthy and feel proud of the body I have. It's the only one I got so I mine as well treat it good!
I have no idea if I'm on week 4 or week 5 of training with Jen but who the hell cares.
I've lost 8 lbs and a couple of inches so far in my training. I'm happy with that but I'm getting kinda frusterated. I can workout like crazy but I cannot get this diet crap under control. I'm doing a...
Sunday: Heavy Chest & Back + Intervals
Monday: High Rep Full Body Circuits + SS Cardio
Tuesday: REST
Wednesday: Heavy Legs
Thursday: 30-45 Minutes SS Cardio
Friday: High Rep Full Body Circuits + Intervals
Saturday: REST
Good work GF on your progress. If you haven't started super setting...try it. My wife lost weight and toned very quickly. It works and works fast.

You could definitely be in competition shape by April 2008. What kind of cardio stuff do you do? When I'm trying to lose fat, I usually do bicycle crunches (at least a total of 500 a day) and stepping exercises. You know, like, stepping up and down on and off of a chair.
Thanks GF. You can definitely do it...just stick with it, set training goals and remember to mix up your workouts each time so your body doesn't get used to a one way approach. Good luck!
