How I Started:
I have been working out on and off for 4 years but it was more off lately. I got tired of being tired and figured since I was turning 50 in a couple of years I wanted to be in the best shape of my life by then. Even though I plan on working out for the rest of my life my short term goal is to shed the love handles and build some muscle mass. I'm trying to build the muscle first and then start a cutting phase to get rid of the roll around the belly.
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel after a good workout and knowing I am getting healthier as I get older.
How I Stay Motivated:
If looking at your own pictures doesn't motivate you nothing will. I have a long way to go but I also know I have the rest of my life to get there.
Well, this is the last week of my 8 week routine. I quit the full body workout and went back to a 3 day split because the full body routine just wasn't doing it for me. I also quit trying to cut or bulk and just started eating better. Went ahead and trimmed up...
Hi Greg :) LOL about being on the cover of GQ...I think anyone could though if they really wanted to! Well I hear ya on the eating...was always my biggest problem too, but if you can get it in check for long enough to see results, I bet it'll be a lot easier. Well good luck to you too :)
