How I Started:
I've been at it off and on for years with minimal success. I'm tired of being skinny, and now I'm developing a bit of a gut. NOT a good combination. I won't lie I want to look good, but I want to feel good, too. I'll set my start date as today.
Why I Love It:
I actually don't love it. That's my problem.
How I Stay Motivated:
Again... this is a problem. :)

I started the P90X program with several coworkers in January. Today I finished Week 6. Still alive!!

I've been skinny all of my life and now that I'm in my 30s I want to finally bulk up. My motivation is in large part vanity, but I also need to get my heart in shape and keep my mind and body active. I know all areas of my life will improve as a result. I want to feel strong and healthy, but also want to look at home on a crowded beach.
I also made a pact with a buddy before he left for Iraq that I'd run a 5K with him when he got back. Well I had surgery on my knee, and he returned safely, but I wasn't able to train at all. I know 5K isn't long, but I'm not a runner so I should probably train. :)
I haven't been posting blogs, but I was in Week 7 and we did the Shoulders/Back/Triceps workout and I must have used too much weight because I re-injured my bad shoulder (had surgery back in '04). So I've kind of cut back on the workouts. Which sucks - I was definitely into the habit, and...
