i wanted to improve my physique and get stronger, and my dad had a pretty good weight set with a bench free weights, and a cable machine.
Why I Love It:
It is one of the few things that is constant in my life, and its a great self-discipline.
How I Stay Motivated:
knowing that results will come, and that every workout i am a little closer to having a perfect bod

right after 18th b-day 168 lbs i would say a big improvement on overall mass
this was a few months after i got really into lifting. I was intially trying to get my body fat down, but i was still making nice gains.
i bulked up to the low 190's then cut down to my current 186 or so (after dropping off a few lbs of water weight)

Want to build off last years success, and compete in a RAW competition in 181 weight class. By 2009 I want to hit these lifts (everything raw): Deadlift: 550 lbs (475 3/11/08) [10lbs/mo] Bench Press: 275 lbs (235 3/11/08) [5lbs/mo] Squat: 425 lbs (365 3/11/08) [7.5lbs/mo] Total (goal): 1075-1255 (180lbs/16.7%) From last yr: Progress from 3/07-3/08 Deadlift: 355-475 [10lbs/mo] Bench: 210-235 [2.1lbs/mo] Squat: 250-365 [9.6lbs/mo] (wasn't going to parallel on my squats up until round feb 08, so my posted stats on bodyspace are incorrect) total change: 815-1075 (260lbs/32%)
