i play football and i wanted to become bigger so, well you know its football and so i started lifting

it makes me feel good and i like the rush when i get stronger or bigger

i was always picked on as a young kid because i was so thin so i push to show that people can change and also i just love the rush

By the way you asked the question it SOUNDS like you already KNOW something -- or were TOLD something useful at some point. In other words, I think you KNOW your answer, and are more looking for a BETTER EXPLANATION of WHY. Look, there are almost no "wrong exercises", just wrong implementation. YOUR FIRST TASK IS TO SEEK ANSWERS TO COMPLEX QUESTIONS IN A COMMENT WINDOW, where you only get 500 characters! LOL! This is a LONGER conversation!

Getting lean is NOT the result of WHAT you eat. It is the result of WHEN and HOW. there is no "wrong food", only "wrong timing". (I am going to be blogging on this topic soon, so check with my blog frequently.) You need to learn to apply the food to the time you need it. As far as losing muscle mass, this is common -- but it is NOT TYPICALLY A "true loss", only that the muscle cells are less "inflated". it is a longer explanation than can be put here in a comment, though...
