How I Started:
Wanted to get in better shape prior to retiring from the Army since I had a little more time to do so.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy knowing how good of shape I am in at my age, especially compared to so many younger people these days.
How I Stay Motivated:
It is hard occasionally but I like knowing that I can have some effect over my health and appearance. Plus I would like to live to a ripe old age.
BB Accomplishments:
I have gone from 175 and 24% body fat when I started to now being 166 and 16% body fat.

Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
Why or why not?
I am a rather private person and since most people do not ask I simply do not talk about it much.
What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
The older you get the harder it is to get or stay fit so once you get a routine going do everything you can to stick with it.
Since you've been working out, taking supplements and eating right, how often do you get sick (cold, flu, etc.)?

I cannot believe how bad I am at logging on and posting on this site. It seems that everytime I think about it I just have to much going on to stop and take the time to post, I will work on getting better at it though. I have been getting to the gym steadily and enjoying the gains I have...

Thanks for the comment Wayne. Now that you're retired you should have all kinds of time to stay in shape. It will add years to your life too which means the Gov't has to pay you longer...its all about stickin' it to the man. BTW what did you do in the Army? Take it easy.
