When I Started:
Feb, 2009
How I Started:
Ever since I was like 4, I have always looked up to my dad. He was 'huge' to me and was like the nicest 'toughguy' in the world. It made me want to be just like him. Even when I was growing up and was only like 4 or 5, he'd let me watch the most badass movies like Rambo, PREDATOR, Terminator 1&2, Over the Top, Raw Deal, the conan movies and like a ton of others i cant think of right now... I always wanted to be a 'big' guy like my Dad, arnold and stallone... unfortunately with my amazing mother, who is 5' and awesome, i got blessed with a tiny 5'7" frame, so instead of filling out bricked up 6'2" frame like his, i decided to make do with what i got. AND after high school i let my body turn to silly putty.
then.
My last birthday I was super upset with how I let my body go, So in February of 2009 I picked up a few magazines (MUSCULAR DEVELOPMENT, flex, and muscle & fitness), got a few gym memberships (ballys & snap) and haven't looked back... through bodybuilding.com and my family alone, I've had the motivation and inspiration to become completely shredded with mass by my next bday on november 20th.
Why I Love It:
Its ADDICTING, stress relieving, challenging, and keeps my body healthier than its ever been. Its more than a just exercise to me, its about getting bigger and conquering one weight at a time... it also stopped ALOT of my partying and improved my overall health! Its the biggest release and best addiction I've ever had! Now, I'm up to 5 days a week 2-3.5 hours a night, depending on a cardio day or not..duh .. and yea i know, every day should be cardio, but i hate cardio.. soo there :)
How I Stay Motivated:
are you kidding? go watch "BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA" with kurt russel, so funny and the one liners are the f.ckn best!
.
I am currently studying for personal training certifications in NASM and ISSA, taking the ISSA first and NASM 2nd. I WILL be certified in both by November 2009, guaranteed.
GAIN MASS! go harder into every set, destroy these roadblocks and build my frame to cast a HUGE motherf*ckin' shadow!! (always reppin' the DO WORK CREW!!!)
Goal (Long):
i AM going to get bigger and better every f*ckin' day. end of story.
makes some bada$$ inpirational videos that honestly motivate the ****in hell outta me... and is definitely one dedicated mf'er who definitely GETS WORK DONE
Why I like this video: FRANK McGRATH is by far my favorite bb --- and the music is 'as blood runs black'... short to the point and badass for motivation on the go!
these last 4 months have been pretty hard, in a good way and best for me.. and my life and the way id like to remain for as long as my body will let me... but its also bad too... bad with my 'social' life and friends i used to drink with 5 nights a week... some of them get it, and some of them...
Hey Rad,
Thanks for allowing me to talk to your persepctive client yesterday. I really love talking to people to encourage them. Pleae do not hesitate to ask me again should the situation arise. I will share freely and happily my experience with weight loss. Oh, by the way, I am up 2.5 pounds so the plateau is still around. But I think much of it is from my really hitting the weights. As much as I want to focus on weight loss, I love the iron!!!
I do more cardio than weights because I want lean muscle plus that is the only way I can drop body fat, at least for me. I do quite a bit of weights, yoga and pilates for strength training.
bro wait till u see the video i upload me driving to pittsburgh opening up with now were talking video statusssss hahahah then singing bon jovi always at the top of my lungs and playing the air guitar doing a 100 on the turnpike ahhahahahahahaha
You're welcome :) I've got a few online classes to work on in the morning but I'm definetely doing 4 miles, 3 min walk, 2 min jog tomorrow. Hopefully I will beat my time from last night of 57 min.
