Well, like many of you, I've been working on and off for many years... I suppose that since I was twelve. Started with a friend, we went sometimes to a gym and I also worked out at home.
Why I Love It:
Because it gives you discipline (something that we all need know a days); it makes you feel better with yourself and gives you the ability to sculpt your body
How I Stay Motivated:
I sometimes read other bodybuilders stories or pictures and that really inspires me. Other times with my own progress.
Finish my 8 week HST Program, starting September 8th
Goal (Long):
I´m going to try out this program called Hypertrophy Specific Training (HST); it´s a program build to gain mass and strength, but primarily focused on the mass side. I want to be able to gain at least 5 lbs of muscle with this. Don´t know if this is to much to ask for. but this time I´ll be monitoring my eating, resting and training habits to maximize the gains. But I will also keep it real. I know I am not going to be the incredible Hulk with this (anyway, I do not want to). But this HST program is important for me, because if I finish it, it will be my first seriously planned workout and lifestyle change
Well; August is over and I couldn't take my family to the beach and I didn't go to the beach with my family. Well... stuff happens, and things don't always work as you would like. But anyway, I'll try my best on this new program I am starting next week.

thanks! did you ever see the moose collection album on my space? for now won't be able to workout for a long time. waiting for mri of messed up right knee and right wrist messed up. hate not being able to hit the weights and the fur is growing back on my chest and legs. can't wait till i'm able to make that go away. being wounded really sucks!
I am continuing with my training. I have recently started to lift heavier. Let see what happens. I will be going in for by bodfat count this weekend.I'll see if I made my goal.---What is a HST program?
No word on the job yet. Hoping to hear soon. I started the Body for Life program today and I'm hoping for good results. I don't have what I need to do it completely so I figured I would use the rest of this year to condition myself into the program and go all out for the challenge in January. How's it going with you?
wasn't thinking to well last nite. the mooseum is the 10x10 spare bed with the collection. albums labeded the "moose collection". most others were either taken by myself or her. the cruise shots she took. the "for jeff" pics- a friend who went on the cruise constantly poked fun at the sneakers in pics. i set that up for his amuzement.
UNDER PIC ALBUMS, scroll down there are 2 labeled the moose collection. the ones on the beach my wife took (she is under my friends list as princess red) all the workout ones i did with tripod and timer.
i decided to use that forum signature over this one "live everyday as if it were your lasy because someday you will be right!" thought the one i used better fit the site. the other one i used on my space. i don't think anyone even reads it on my space.
you have a really good "Y" on back. lat pull downs will bring this out even more. i think you have a great potenetial. just keep on it and don't stop. when you stop, it's like 1 step foreward and 3 steps back.

I've been great. How about yourself? How did your beach fun go? Did you get a tan? Right now I am looking for a new job. I went on Thursday to apply for one and hoping they call back. If they do it will help a great deal. I am thinking about doing Body for Life and if I get that job I will be able to get the supplements they say to get. If I don't I will probably still do the program and hope for the best results. I would love to win the challenge. Later.
