How I Started:
Teased for my weight as a teenager and as an adult became tired and disappointed in the direction that my life was going. I chose to take control of my health and step it up to a higher level.
Why I Love It:
I love how I feel when I am working out and just being in tune with my body and what it can do. Feeling strong and healthy helps me stay motivated. More often than not the gym is my sanctuary.
How I Stay Motivated:
Reminding myself of how hard I have worked to get to the shape I am in now and focusing on the goals I want to achieve. Seeing the definition and cuts that I have sweated for keeps me going.

David is an amazingly dedicated and focused individual. He has worked hard and persevered throughout the rehabilitation of his arm and has made phenomenal gains despite his injury. His strength, motivation and tenaciousness are completely awe inspiring. Just look at his pics they speak volumes, and along with a heart like no other this man has got it going on!! A phenomenal role model to others... David you inspire and move me to be the absolute best that I can be.
Look at him! I am inspired by Ed because he proves that you can transform your body no matter what age through hard work and dedication. We all have that rock hard and fit body within us!! It is much easier to achieve in our youth, but, he has acquired his outstanding physique in his 50's.....truly awesome.....I feel my best body and years are yet to be because of him! woohoo!!! :)

Mary, it is always impressive to see anyone reach your level of muscular conditioning. However, it is even more amazing and motivating to see you do this when most people say we are long past our prime! On top of that, you are proof that parents are the best role models for our children! Best wishes to your son as he enters his first competition!
