How I Started:
I really got into working out when I was 21 or 22 years old. I have an older friend who got me into running races. I enjoy running. I've worked out since then but not passionately I guess you could say. There are times I take time off and end up gaining weight to just indulge a little. I'm getting older so I need to stop that crap. lol So here I am again, needing to lose weight but I'm going to keep it off.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good. I love to run and I love the feeling of self accomplishment. I've did a few mini marathons and even though I could think I was nuts for doing it half way thru it, after I finish I enjoy the feeling.
How I Stay Motivated:
By not getting too fat! ha. I dont know, self motivation I guess, I dont really have anyone to motivate me in that way. I just set my own little personal goals.
BB Accomplishments:
Well when I was in HS I was ripped but that was a long time ago. I would also say just running in mini-marathons is also great accomplishment.

I would love to all the bad fat on my body and then tone my body. I don't want to get crazy ripped up but I would like to see some definition and I would love to see my abs again. I'm currently around 210lbs, I would like to be around 180lbs.

hi steve!! Our best advice is to just knock the calories down and increae the output in the form of exercise. Eventually, the bodyfat just wears off but you have to be consistent and peristent. It comes gradually - not overnight! good luck!!! diane and john
