How I Started:
Many years ago while in college, but never really had a workout plan. Pictures of Arnold Swarzeneggar were staggering to me and while I knew that I never would get to that stage, I was impressed by his commitment. His physique is timeless...
Why I Love It:
I enjoy it because it energizes me. My ideal body has always eluded me, whether it is intensity of work out or nutrition. I am 45 years old and want to finally reach my goal.
How I Stay Motivated:
Just seeing the little improvements gets me to the next day.
Hit my goal early...down to 13% @ 186lbs. New goal for March 2008 will be 9%BF, while maintaining my present weight.
Goal (Long):
My long term goal is to be healthy and fit for my family, to teach my kids the benefit of excercise and nutrition. My longterm personal goal is to continue to train and reduce my bodyfat below 12%, so I can look and feel the best that I can even at MY age!
This weekend I had a body profile done at the gym I train at, my actual bodyfat percentage is 18.71%, so that is my actual benchmark, I had estimated it before but obviously was off by almost 2 percent. The weekend was good, was abe to control my appetite and not indulge myself even on...
lol you didn't say if the chocolate won?? I'm sore too... started using some weight for ab work this weekend! I'm drinking my super pump now before my workout.. If you need more cardio yard work, I have a big yard that needs lots of work haha
Oh thanks!! They're goofy but I hope to share some info with others trying to get started. Thanks for your undying support! My website is partially functioning if you want to check it out -- www.workitoutfitnesslair.com
LOL no you're not! Well on good days it's turkey, chicken, green veggies, fruit etc... On bad days I still eat some of those just have some bad stuff mixed in like pizza or chips and dip usually! lol If it's in the house I will eat it hahaha Most of the time it's not in the house though!
I know exactly what you mean! Funny thing is I'm really not a big chocolate fan... just like a few but when you need chocolate you really need chocolate! lol This conversation is really making me want some so I'm glad I don't keep it in the house!
Thanks! I met some people & got some feedback. There was a girl there who just got her Pro Card in fitness (I think) working a booth & she bought one & put it on right away and wore it in the other booth. It was great except no one really saw her. (lol) She loved it tho and she'll wear it for me.
