How I Started:
I started lifting weights as a teenager in high school. I let myself go in college. In February 2008 I joined a gym and started working out seriously. I began a real bodybuilding routine, diet and supplementing for the first time.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because it has made me healthier, more confident and has improved the quality of my life.
How I Stay Motivated:
One way I stay motivated is by reading bodybuilding magazines and keeping up with the pro scene. Encouragement from family, friends and strangers has also been very motivational to me.
BB Accomplishments:
I've transformed my body by losing over 40 lbs of fat and over 10 inches off my waist (July 15, 2009).

Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
Working out at the gym is awesome. They have all the stuff I need and my house does not smell like sweat. Also, you've heard the phrase "iron sharpens iron?" Friends at the gym can help you stay motivated and push you further.Working out at the gym is awesome. They have all the stuff I need and my house does not smell like sweat. What should look for in a gym? What should you avoid?
The first thing I look for is the hardcore stuff: power racks. If the gym does not have the equipment to do heavy barbell squats and deadlifts, the place is too soft.
depends on the day really. sometimes i go around 7 or 8pm and like today im going around 8am but i dont normally go that early...othertimes i go between 2-4pm. it just depends on what is going on during that day with my schedule.
I've made some, I'd need to take some more photos to compare to what I started as, not sure if there is any visible signs yet.
Just had a look at your recent progress and good job man, keep it up!
