How I Started:
I got into weight training taking a class in college. Really loved it!! I got serious about my training in March 2000. My starting weight was 168lbs. I'm 149lbs. currently and have kept the weight off for 7yrs. I sometimes feel that the 149lbs. is deceiving due to adding muscle.
Why I Love It:
I feel good about myself and the way I look.
How I Stay Motivated:
Not wanting to revert to my old ways.
BB Accomplishments:
I competed in my first figure competition in Galveston last year April 2006, the Southern States NGA. I came in 2nd place in the tall division. I'll be doing the Branch Warren NPC in July. My son will be 16 months old when I do this show.

I gave birth to my son on Feb. 29, 2008. I gained 60 lbs. which made my weight 205 lbs. by the time I gave birth to my son. I'm now 149lbs. I'll be competing in July. I just want to be in the top 5. This will be my second competition. First one was 2006.

Wow!! What a journey it has been. I met with Kim on Mon. and things look great. I'm much leaner for this competition than my first one. The next few days will be depleting and taning. Practice, practice with the posing. Just look back 24 weeks ago I started the journey to this point. 16 months...
