When I Started:
Jun, 2007
How I Started:
At the start of my under grad, I was fit from playing soccer. However, being a pre-med student had changed my priorities and I ended up packing on a ridiculous amount of weight (100lbs to be exact). Once I got accepted to medical school, I told myself to stop making excuses and do something about my weight and health. After all, how was I supposed to tell people to lose wight and take care of themselves if I looked like ****? I busted my ass all four years of med school and lost all the weight I had managed to pack on and then some. Now that I have made it through medical school and have more free time, I train and do yoga...everyday no excuses!
Why I Love It:
I'm kinda like chicken/tuna...I don't always love that act of working out/training but I love the benefits and results of my hard work.
How I Stay Motivated:
I feel like total crap when I don't workout.....so I make sure I don't miss any sessions....they invented 24 hour gyms for a reason!
BB Accomplishments:
I won my match in Thailand!!

Isnt everyone inspired by CT? ;) Seriously though, I love her honesty about how it is not always fun to workout but that being fit is more fun than being a pile of crap
Cardio: 6 days a week 30min to an hour depending on how tired I am from being at the hospotal (mon-sat, sun I rest to catch up on studying and laundry ;) )
I don't even think it matters who our QB is if we don't get a better offensive line. Both our running and passing game sucks this year because of the line.
I'm doing ok. I just moved into a house recently so I've been unpacking this whole week (no gym time). Will you be specializing or doing general surgery?
hahah yeah not so fun this whole med school thing. im so tired of reading hundreds of pages of notes of things i cant even pronounce. this semester is biochem, neuro, and phys. kill me
Well congratulations! Seems like lots of positive developments in your world. I also noticed you have lost about 100 pounds, is that correct? Wow! Amazing effort and hard work. I hope you have time to squeeze in some rounds on the bag... once a fighter always a fighter!
not taking biochem till next semester. this semester is gross, human prenatal development, and histology. just finished second block of tests..about to start studying for finals. training was going good till last week.i always take the week after a test to do nothing but eat and drink. but today starts back training again.
Long time no talk... what happened with Ireland fight? What's your training like these days? I moved for a little while and couldn't box but now I'm back and at my old boxing gym again. Trying to get back into this website again too.
