I have worked out since I was about 10 years old with sports and aerobics. I have been weight lifting off and on and really got serious in April of 07.
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes my body look and feel. I feel amazing when I am done and have more energy. I like to sweat and I love the feeling of getting winded pushing myself harder!
How I Stay Motivated:
I have pics hanging on my bathroom wall of figure models and I read a lot of magazines for inspiration. I work out 5 days a week and even when I travel. Of course there are days when I do not work as hard, but I do not look at working out as a chore. It is just part of my everyday routine. I really enjoy it. I usually do not lack motivation. I just decided that I want to enter my first figure competition and thinking about who I may be up against is the best motivation.
BB Accomplishments:
Sticking it out and training solo or without a personal trainer, entering my first figure show, I feel accomplished already just by doing things that I thought were not possible and being consistent.

Whether you think you can or you think you can't, either way you're right.
I have been having major issues since my competition. I am continuing to eat pretty clean and still working out like crazy. I was trying to lift lighter weights for higher reps to burn more fat and calories. I have introduced more running and pilates. The scale only says that I am...
i had to take the last 5 months off cause of surgery so im flabby and weak at the moment but ive been lifting since football in highschool. today im starting my big push to get the good body
I personally love to lift, so I do fairly high reps, but with a pretty good weight. I like my muscles to be hard and shapely. Diet is what shrinks you down and makes you lean looking.
Hey Brandi!
I just got back into town and thought I would see what you were up to. Im still trying to adjust being back in the city. 10 days in yellowstone with no internet/computer/phone was great. Still trying to catch up.
what have you been up to?
Ok cool! I dont know if we are doing the 5th or the 6th just yet. I figure I will ping her when I get back from my trip.
So did you throw out the scale yet? ;)

:) Interested?
Hey Brandi!
