Overall Goal: Focusing on endurance through sprints and running. Trying to improve my push-ups. I just applied to become a police officer and am finally following up on a dream I had 9 years ago!
Fit Status:
I am mixing it up this week. I am spending less time in the gym and more time doing kettelbell training at home.

When I Started:
Apr, 2007
How I Started:
I have worked out since I was about 10 years old with sports and aerobics. I have been weight lifting off and on and really got serious in April of 07.
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes my body look and feel. I feel amazing when I am done and have more energy. I like to sweat and I love the feeling of getting winded pushing myself harder!
How I Stay Motivated:
I have pics hanging on my bathroom wall of figure models and I read a lot of magazines for inspiration. I work out 5 days a week and even when I travel. Of course there are days when I do not work as hard, but I do not look at working out as a chore. It is just part of my everyday routine. I really enjoy it. I usually do not lack motivation. I just decided that I want to enter my first figure competition and thinking about who I may be up against is the best motivation.
BB Accomplishments:
Sticking it out and training solo or without a personal trainer, entering my first figure show, I feel accomplished already just by doing things that I thought were not possible and being consistent.

Focusing on endurance through sprints and running. Trying to improve my push-ups. I just applied to become a police officer and am finally following up on a dream I had 9 years ago!
Goal (Long):
Kick ass every day, build sexy muscles, kill my goals and exceed everyones expectations.
too many reasons to name! I am inspired by someone who always pushes themselves beyond the limits and really is consistent in all they do. You have taught me a lot and I thank you for listening to my frustrations. Reading your blog also inspires me and I love to hear that you have killed your goals and you are starting a grueling new workout!!!
Lately I have really been needing to mix up my routine. I have been switching up my exercises and experimenting with reps and amount of weight, but I feel like my body is not shocked any more. I have also noticed my metabolism has slowed down. I still have great workouts, but I am not...
Just read your blog entry from June 14. I kinda know how you feel about not appearing to get the results as used to . I have been at that point for a while now. Doing different things, routines, weights/reps and more cardio and ..nada. But keep at it. The more things you change up, the results will show. Good back def. btw. Keep at it.
LOL about what was hiding under my tank top! I got in trouble at AFF one day for taking it off.
Here's to a terrific 12 weeks for you! Go get 'em woman.
That is so true. Havn't been out there yet. I have heard it is a nice club though. When the new Midlo. club opens, it supposed to be a little like that one, so I've heard. Have a great work out this evening! Back & bi's for me tonight.
Just posted a blog. Been going good, always feel great when I am done, just in a big a*s rut. But not stopping though. Your right, you are the 1st Richmonder I have seen on here. I like the site though. Which Gold's do you work out at? I'm in the Southside right now.
Hi, noticed you stopped by. It's about time I see someone from the same town on here. Been keeping up with your workouts? How they going? Looks like you've been wouking hard at it. Take care.
